The Café
Everyday chat once the kids are asleep or the day is done. Every evening 19–21 and Saturdays 10–12.
Rooms · 18+
A room on Mingle is a living place around an interest. You see who’s there, step in and talk. The room is where personality shows: in how someone jokes, asks and answers. That’s why everything starts here, for friendship, dating or both.
During the pilot
The Café for everyday chat, After Work after the working day and Outdoors for the next trip. These rooms are in Swedish. The Café is also open in English: the same simple first hello, for everyone in Sweden who would rather speak English. The rooms have set times during the pilot, so there are people there when you arrive.

In the room
You see who’s inside before you say anything, and what you have in common gives you something to talk about from the very start.
Every room has a voice chat that opens when at least three people are in the room. You join by actively choosing to, your microphone is off to begin with and nothing is recorded.
Anyone in the room can suggest a coffee, a walk or an after work, and the room signs up with one tap. The place is an area, never an address.
Message someone you’ve met in the room, or say you’d like to meet again. To message privately, you both show a photo in the room.
From an open room you can share a personal link, so a friend steps into the same room as you.
Around what you love: open to everyone, or private, where only the people you invite from your matches can come in.
One language per room
Every room has a language that’s shown in the room, today Swedish or English. The room’s language is the norm, but a word in another language or a helping hand to someone new is always fine. We only open languages we can moderate: the word filter covers the language and at least one moderator reads it.
From the room to real life
The rooms are open to all of Sweden. Real-life meet-ups can be set in fixed areas in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Linköping, Örebro, Västerås and Umeå. The host is always a verified member.
