Terms of use for Mingle
This is an English translation for your convenience. If the English and Swedish versions differ, the Swedish version applies.
Before the pilot opens
The legal operator's full company name, corporate ID number and postal address will be published here before registration opens widely. The technical service and the rules below have already been decided.
1. Who may use the service?
You must be at least 18 years old. You may not create an account with false identity details, pretend to be someone else or use Mingle for fraud, harassment or illegal activity.
2. What Mingle is
Mingle is a social meeting app for friendship, dating or both. Members can take part in avatar-based rooms, use Chemistry before photo, chat, match, plan group activities and suggest voluntary meetings.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for making sure your account details are correct and that your password is kept secure.
- You may only have one account, intended for yourself, unless Mingle expressly approves otherwise.
- You can pause or delete your account in the app's settings.
- Mingle may restrict or suspend accounts that breach the terms or create a safety risk.
4. Conduct and content
Harassment, threats, hate, spam, fraud, non-consensual sexual content, exploitation, attempts to get around blocks and other illegal or harmful content are prohibited. Content may be stopped automatically, reviewed after a report or lead to restrictions on the account.
5. Photos, text and other material
You keep your rights to material you upload. You give Mingle a limited right to store, process and display the material solely in order to provide, secure and improve the service. Do not upload material that you do not have the right to use.
6. Photos and verification
Real profile photos are voluntary and are shown according to your choices. The verification selfie is stored separately and permanently deleted immediately after approval or rejection. An approved review requires a new selfie and does not mean automatic verification.
7. Meetings outside the app
You decide yourself whether, when and with whom you meet. Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust and leave if something feels wrong. If you are in immediate danger, call 112.
8. Availability and changes
The pilot may be changed, paused or limited while features and safety controls are being tested. Material changes to the terms or to the processing of personal data are announced in the app or through an appropriate contact channel.
9. Liability
Mingle is responsible for the service's own technical and organisational controls, but cannot guarantee other members' behaviour or that every piece of information a member provides is correct. Nothing in the terms limits rights that follow from mandatory consumer or data protection legislation.
10. Contact and complaints
Email info@minglemingle.se or use the support form for questions about your account, safety or the terms. Questions about personal data and deletion can also be handled via the privacy page and the account deletion page.
